Dolgeville students get lessons on safety at expo

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - Law enforcement officials were at the Dolgeville Elementary School on Friday having a safety expo for children.

Multiple fire departments, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office and even a K-9 unit were on hand to teach children how to be safe in the summer months.

The presenters did many different activities with the children to show them that while highly important, safety can also be fun.

Topics ranged from fire prevention, all the way to motor vehicle safety.

There were 11 different stations represented at the Safety Expo today trying to promote awareness for kids at an early age.
