Donations accepted at Sangertown Square for flood victims

By WKTV News

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Three local radio stations spent the day broadcasting from Sangertown Square Mall in New Hartford asking for donations of any kind to assist people who lost everything in this week's floods.

Donations came in the way of monetary, non-perishable food items or gently used clothing.

"Mainly monetary, but we'll take gently used clothing, food items and we've got all over the property, Red Cross people going up to cars," said Sangertown Marketing Director Alison Ryan Cahalan. "This is a big traffic venue, so people are being very generous."

The drive went on until 6 p.m. on Friday, but you can also drop off donations, anytime, to the customer service kiosk at the mall.
