Drums Along the Mohawk returns to Rome

By WKTV News

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The music, the pageantry, the competition all return to Rome as Drums Along the Mohawk returns, Wednesday.
Drum Corps from around the country will square off in a competition that's as heated as it is spectacular to watch.
Corps from cities such as Denver, Boston and Seattle are among those who will compete at the RFA stadium.
The teens spend as much as three months away from home and on the road, practicing and performing their craft.
"You're going to see seven drum corps here this evening," said Fred Morris, Director of Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps. "The pageantry, the visual arts, the marching precision, the percussion, the brass, the color guard; it's just going to be an extraordinary display"

Tickets will be sold at the door, with the show beginning at 7 p.m.
