(WKTV) - A dump truck with a raised roll-off Dumpster tore down all the traffic signal span wires and signal heads at the intersection of Orskany and  Westmoreland roads, the New York Department of Transportation said.

Emergency crews, along with a traffic signal crew and various utility companies were at the scene Tuesday afternoon, as well as the dump truck, entangled in various wires.

Whitesboro police were detouring westbound traffic at Clinton Street and directing them to Brainard Street. Temporary stop signs will be used to control traffic overnight.
