(WKTV) - An Edmeston woman is accused of stealing several firearms out of a home in New Lisbon in September, the Otsego County Sheriff's Office said.

Angela Eileen Feitzinger, 24, of Edmeston, is charged with felony grand larceny in the fourth degree, felony criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and felony criminal possession of a firearm. Feitzinger was arrested on Jan. 9 after a traffic stop.

According to officials, a homeowner reported he was away from his New Lisbon home for several days. When he came back, he noticed three registered semi-automatic handguns were missing. An investigation showed Feitzinger allegedly stole the guns out of the home and later sold two of them in Utica. The other handgun was recovered by deputies after it had been stored in a Hartwick storage unit, along with some of Feitzinger's personal property.

Feitzinger was sent to the Otsego County Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail. She faces up to seven years in state prison.
