Employers flock to Utica College for job fair

By WKTV News

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Fifty employers from around the northeastern United States were at the Utica College library for a job fair, Wednesday.

Students of UC, had the change to mingle with these employers, and even hand in their resumes for potential future employment.

The fair was a way for undergraduate students, graduating students, and even people of the public to find internships and jobs.

"It's a good tool for networking, and feeling more comfortable talking to employers face to face...rather than just digitally through an application system," said Employer Relations Coordinator, Jenna Turman.

Utica College also said that it is a good way to keep students local after they graduate from their hallowed halls.
