Erin Hamlin's parents talk about historic medal run

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks for Remsen native Erin Hamlin.

She became the first American luger to medal in Olympic singles luge, winning a bronze in Sochi, and then had multiple television appearances on the Today Show, and on NBC Olympics primetime with Lester Holt, as well as many others.

Erin's feat has had the Mohawk Valley buzzing since she crossed the finish line last week, and while she remains in Sochi as a spectator for the remainder of the Winter Games, her parents are back home with plenty of stories to tell.

The Hamlins sat down with NEWSChannel 2 to discuss the Olympic experience, the Bronze medal, and plenty more!
