Roadways washed out and flooded, several closed

ONEIDA COUNTY (WKTV) - Flooding in several areas has roadways shut down across the Mohawk Valley.

One of the hardest hit areas is Chadwicks.

So far, we've heard a trailer park on Bleachery Road had to be evacuated as the Sauquoit Creek overflowed its banks.

Oneida Street in Chadwicks is closed.

Route 12 in Deansboro is closed.

In Vernon Center, Route 26 South is closed.

Other trouble spots include Brookline Road in New Hartford.

Washington Mills at the corner of Oneida and Chapman Road is flooded.

Several reports of flooding in the Valley and also parts of Frankfort.

There is no unecessary travel in Southern Oneida County.
