Fairfield residents assess storm damage
FAIRFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV)- Residents are left assessing the damage after the storms ripped through the area prompting the the town of Fairfield to issue a state of emergency Monday. The state of emergency is expected to continue for at least five days. Fairfield resident Steven Burdick and his wife were in the thick of the storm. It ripped parts of their roof off and cracked a tree right in half. "I'm hoping to get through this, because this has not been a good year," said Burdick. Residents in Little Falls and Herkimer are also dealing with storm damage.
