Family homeless following Cedarville fire

CEDARVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - Fire tore through a home in Herkimer County on Saturday morning.

The house on Dugan Road in Cedarville was completely destroyed from the blaze that broke out around 7:00 a.m.

Eight fire departments were called, and a total of about 80 firefighters helped put the flames out.

No injuries resulted from the fire. The American Red Cross is assisting the family of four who lived there.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
