Faxton-St. Luke's nurse accused of fraudulently obtaining drugs

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A registered nurse at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare is now facing charges after authorities they fraudulently obtained drugs.

According to New York State Police, a joint investigation between they and the New York State Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement resulted in the charging of Robert F. Adasek, 43, of Utica with first-degree falsifying business records and obtaining narcotics by deceit.

Adasek, who is a registered nurse at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, is accused of fraudulently obtaining dilaudid and morphine sulfate from the hospital. He was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of New Hartford Court on State Police.
