Fay Street Warehouse demolition postponed until March

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - The demolition of the Fay Street Warehouse has been postponed until March, the New York State Department of Transportation said.

The controlled demolition, which is part of the north/south arterial project, was scheduled for Feb. 8. However, because of demolition permitting requirements, the building removal has been pushed to March. A new date will be announced soon.

The scope of the project and public safety procedures will remain the same.
