Felony hearing moved for NBT Bank Robbery suspect; stolen car used in robbery

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - The man accused of robbing the NBT Bank on Black River Boulevard in Rome and shooting at an Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy is due back in court Thursday for a felony hearing.

Brian Brown was supposed to be in court on Tuesday, August 3, but his case was pushed to later in the week.

Brown was captured just before 5 p.m. Friday following a more than 24 hour manhunt. He was later taken to Floyd Town Court where he pleaded not-guilty to the crimes.

Brown is charged with attempted murder and is being held in the Oneida County ail without bail.

His cousin, Ikiko Brown, is charged with robbery, and is due back in court Wednesday for his felony hearing. Ikiko Brown allegedly drove the getaway car following the robbery on Thursday, July 29.

The first car Ikiko Brown drove was reported stolen from Asim Automotive in Utica. He allegedly ditched that car for Brian Brown's Mitsubishi Galant car shortly after the robbery.

Ikiko Brown is also being held at the Oneida County Jail. With jail set at $250,000.
