Felony hearing postponed again for suspect in Sheriff's Deputy shooting death

By WKTV News

ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Knoxboro man accused of shooting and killing an Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy will not be in court on Wednesday, after all.

Christian Patterson is accused of the June 7 murder of Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy Kurt Wyman.

Patterson was due in Floyd Town Court on Wednesday for a felony hearing, but he's still in the hospital.

His attorney, Frank Nebush, asked for and was granted a one-week adjournment so that his client could be at his felony hearing.

Three deputies shot Patterson after he shot at Deputy Wyman.
