Felony hearing waived for man accused in Forestport shooting

FORESTPORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - The man accused of shooting and killing his wife in Forestport has waived his felony hearing.
Larry Utter was scheduled to appear in the Town of Floyd Court Monday afternoon for a felony hearing after being accused of shooting and killing his wife, Stacey Utter, 45, at their home last Tuesday.
She was found dead in their Trestle Road home after investigators said Larry called 911, reporting that he had accidentally shot his wife.
According to autopsy results, she was shot two times.
Utter is being held at the Oneida County Jail and the case now moves to an Oneida County Grand Jury.
