Fire in New York Mills overnight

NEW YORK MILLS (WKTV) --A fire broke out shortly after 2 a.m. on 61 Clinton St. in New York Mills.

Flames started in the basement of the home. Heavy smoke was visible billowing from the residence.

Officials say all of the residents were able to get out of their home without injury.

Three crews from the New York Mills Fire Department were called to the scene along with several National Grid workers.

Firefighters say it could have been an electrical fire, but the cause is still under investigation.
