Fire on Howe St. in Utica leaves nine without a home

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A house fire in Utica has displaced nine people from their home, Saturday morning.
 
The blaze began at a two family house at 2012 Howe Street, and severely damaged the residence causing both families to be without a home.
 
The cause of the fire is not known at this time, and fire officials are currently investigating the scene in order to determine what may have started the fire.
 
The American Red Cross of the Mohawk Valley has been providing assistance to the families in need, providing food, clothing, and shelter for the 9 residents.
