Firefighter suffers minor injury in fire at auto parts store

ONEIDA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A firefighter was injured while putting out flames at an auto parts store in the City of Oneida on Wednesday.

The fire broke out around 8:30 a.m. at Gary's Auto Parts on Fitch Street Wednesday morning.

Officials say the fire started in the area of the shop where repairs are made , an area that is attached to the main building. It's not known as of this writing what started the fire.

The firefighter is being treated for a minor injury.
