First Niagara Bank robbed Thursday morning

(WKTV) - Utica police received a report of a bank robbery Thursday at First Niagara Bank, Chief Mark Williams said.

The call from the bank, located at 1125 Mohawk St., came in around 9:15 a.m. Thursday.

According to Williams, a black man entered the bank and told the teller he had a weapon, although he did not display one.

The man got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
