Flood workshop scheduled for Wednesday rescheduled

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - The Mohawk Valley floods Recovery Tools and Training Workshop scheduled for Wednesday in Utica has been postponed until March 4, organizers say.

More than 90 people from Herkimer, Oneida, Madison and Montgomery counties had pre-registered for the workshop. Because of heavy snow forecast for Wednesday in central new York, and winter weather impeding workshop leaders from traveling to Utica from other states, the meeting was rescheduled.

The workshop will now be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 4 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1640 Genesee St.

Those who have already RSVP'd will be automatically registered for the workshop. Those interested in attending the March 4 program should provide their name, organization and full contact information to Patsy Glista by e-mail to pglista@upstatenysynod.org, by calling 315-235-7106 or mailing c/o LDR, Lutheran Care, 108 Utica Road, Clinton, NY 13323. For more information, call 315-289-2686.
