Folts Home kicks off Angel Appeal fundraiser

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - 'Tis the season for miracles and one local organization is kicking off an extra-special holiday campaign.
The Folts Home in Herkimer launched its Angel Appeal on Wednesday, a way to make small miracles happen within the assisted living facility.
The facility will place a paper angel figure on its holiday blessing tree for every donation made to the campaign.
Board Members Dt. Anthony Piana said even the smallest donations help in a big way.
"Every year, this is a great fundraiser to do something that is out of the ordinary," Piana said. "Like, this year, I think it's for updating the alarm system for patients."
Anyone can make a donation any time at Folts Home.
