Former Oneida County Legislator sentenced to state prison

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A former Oneida County Legislator is off to state prison.
On Tuesday, an Oneida County Court Judge sentenced Ed Revere to 1-3 years in state prison for violating his probation by getting arrested for DWI. Ed Revere went on the run after a fifth DWI arrest in Oneida County back in 2008. Authorities caught up with him in Georgia earlier this year.
As a county lawmaker, Revere represented people living in New Hartford, Paris and Bridgewater from 1998-1999.
