Former Oneonta man faces drug charges

(WKTV) - A former Oneonta man has been charged in connection with allegedly selling narcotics in the City of Oneonta in July 2011, the Otsego County Sheriff's Office said.

Robert Charles Martin, 24, of Houston, Mo., is charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree.

According to authorities, in July 2011, Martin sold Suboxone sublingual films in the City of Oneonta. Martin surrendered himself Friday at the Otsego County Sheriff's Office on Friday.

If convicted, Martin faces up to five years in prison.
