Former WKTV reporter's daughter documenting African experience

(WKTV) - Karen Huxtable, a former WKTV reporter, has a daughter who in Africa right now, but her area has not yet been impacted by Ebola.

Erika Hooker, 23, joined the Peace Corps last year and is working as an agricultural extension agent in a village just north of Guinea.

Huxtable says her daughter is well educated on the situation. Erika has a blog that's part of a Peace Corps contest. You can read her about her experience at senegalwritinghome.wordpress.com/.
