Four facing charges for selling alcohol to minors in Dolgeville

DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - Four people are facing charges after police say they served alcoholic beverages to minors.

During the evening hours of Friday, August 31, the Dolgeville Police Department, along with the New York State Liquor Authority, conducted an "ABC Sting" in the Village of Dolgeville. Police say there were six businesses that were visited by an underage person, along with the Investigator from New York State Liquor Authority.

Authorities said the businesses visited were FasTrac, Dopp's Inn, Big M, Arthur's Restaurant, Kinney's and Stewart's and that four of those businesses sold an alcoholic beverage to a person under the age of 21.

The following people were arrested as a result of the sting operation:

*Jessica M. Seaman, 37, of Dolgeville, from the Big M Store on Lamberson St.
*Korey A. Perkins, 23, of Dolgeville, from the Dolgeville Kinney's
*Matthew J. Kluge, 50, of Dolgeville, from Dopp's Inn
*Katherine A. Carmen, 22, of Dolgeville, from Arthur's Restaurant

All four were charged with one count each of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, and were released on appearance tickets.

They are scheduled to appear in the Town of Manheim Court on September 19, 2012 at 7 p.m.
