(WKTV) - While the majority of schools in the Mohawk Valley are on winter break right now, one school did have classes on Tuesday.

Frankfort-Schuyler Middle and High School students attended school to make up for an emergency day. In a note to parents, Superintendent Bob Reina explained that each school is allotted five emergency days. The middle and high school used all of those days because of a classroom fire in the fall.

According to Reina, school was at 70 percent attendance today, which is enough for the school to meet the attendance requirement. The elementary school was not in session.
