Frankfort man faces two felony DWI-related charges

(WKTV) - A 28-year-old Frankfort man faces felony charges after a one-car rollover accident on State Route 365, New York State Police say.

Joseph T. Murphy, 28, of the Town of Frankfort, is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction within the pats 10 years. Both charges are Class E felonies.

According to police, after responding to a one-car rollover accident, Murphy, who was the driver, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was taken back to State Police Remsen, where authorities said he registered a .23 blood alcohol content.

Murphy was arraigned and released on $500 cash bond to return to the Town of Trenton court.
