Frankfort man killed in Ohio snowmobile accident

OHIO, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Frankfort man was killed late Saturday night after a snowmobile accident in Northern Herkimer County, according to New York State Police.

The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. as 47-year-old Scott Streeter was riding on Jones Road, trail C4 in the Town of Ohio.

Police say Streeter was unable to negotiate a curve in the road and went off the trail.

He was reportedly ejected from the snowmobile and struck a tree. Police say Streeter was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
