Frankfort open house brings residents together outdoors

By WKTV News

FRANKFORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - Frankfort residents took to Albany Rd., Saturday, in order to honor their home town.

It was a town-wide open house, where many visited the town's highway garage and were treated to plenty of food and drink, and a number of activities for the kids including the third annual fishing derby.
"We have some bass, some perch, the biggest being 16 1/4 inches, nice fish, and smallest one I think was three inches," said Ron Testa, the Town of Frankfort Highway Superintendent.
Area businesses also donated prizes to be awarded at the derby.
