Frankfort woman faces aggravated DWI charge

(WKTV) - A Frankfort woman faces driving while intoxicated charges after a one-car accident Thursday, Frankfort police say.

Kelly A. Pantola, 35, of Frankfort, is charged with unreasonable speed, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated -- blood alcohol .18 percent or higher and unlawful possession of marijuana.

According to police, an officer came upon a motor vehicle accident where Pantola was trapped and injured in the vehicle. Members of the Frankfort Center Fire Department and Kunkel ambulance service responded to the scene. Pantola decided to not seek  medical treatment.

Officers at the scene placed Pantola under arrest. She was arraigned in the town of Frankfort Court and sent to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility on $1,500 cash bail.
