Funeral arrangements set for Frankfort teen killed in accident

(WKTV) - Funeral arrangements have been set for Sara Jane Testa, who was killed Monday in a car accident on Higby Road.

Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, in the Town of Frankfort. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home chapel and take place at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church with the Rev. Paul Catena, pastor, officiating.

Ms. Testa was born Jan. 19, 1995, in New Hartford. She was a lifetime Frankfort resident and a 2013 graduate of Frankfort-Schuyler High School, where she played softball, volleyball and soccer. She was a student at Herkimer College, where she was in the business administration program and was going to play for the school's soccer team in the fall. She was a member of Upsilon Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Her grandfather, Simon Testa, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her parents, Michael and Gina of Frankfort; her sister, Samantha "Sami" of Frankfort; her grandparents, Rachel Testa of Herkimer, Paul Puleo of Frankfort and Joann Puleo of Ilion; her aunts and uncles, Nick and Kathy Testa, Ronnie and Debbie Testa, Regina Testa, Mark and Anne Marie Puleo, Mike and Cindy Puleo, Paul and Crissy Puleo and Mary Jane and John Carney; and numerous cousins.
