Garlic and Herb Festival spices up a Saturday in CNY

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Garlic and Herb Festival brought food lovers to Little Falls, Saturday.

The Festival began 12 years ago, in order to teach people about the growing process involved with the flavorful herb.

This year, the event had more than 70 vendors present, and one of the best turnouts it has experienced so far.

Yet there were some challenges with this year's festival, as heavy rains have made it a difficult summer for local farmers to grow the usual quota of crops.

While garlic and other herbs were the main focus of this event, horse-drawn carriages and music also helped to round out this day of fun.
