Glenn Miller Orchestra to perform Sunday in Rome

(WKTV) - The Glenn Miller Orchestra will perform Sunday at Rome's Capitol Theatre.

The concert will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday at the theater, located at 220 W. Dominick St. in Rome.

The 19-piece ensemble, which includes two vocalists, will play the original swing arrangements of the Glenn Miller Orchestra from the 1930s and '40s, as well as some newer numbers. Vocalist Nick Hilscher leads the band, and vocalist Julia Rich will also perform.

Doors open at 5 p.m. for the concert, with pre-show music provided by Steve Falvo's Easy Money Big Band and Capitol house organist John Paul.

Tickets are on sale at the Capitol Theatre box office, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
