(WKTV) - The Owen D. Young school held its graduation for the Class of 2014, Sunday.
Twelve students made up Owen D. Young graduating class.
Because it's such a small school, the superintendent says graduation day is a very personal experience.
"Most of the students are second and third generation graduates of the school district," said James Picolla, Superintendent. "Their parents and grandparents probably went here in may cases.
"One of the nice traditions during the ceremony, is that the students will take flowers and bring them out to people who mean something special for them."
Most of the graduating students will stay local and go to community colleges.
Out in Cooperstown, seniors dressed in black and orange robes to celebrate their graduation at Fenimore Art Museum.
It was a beautiful day outside for friends and family to take part in the very special day.

Congratulations to all the graduates!
