Grant money awarded for nanocenter development

MARCY, N.Y. (WKTV) Plans for the Marcy Nanocenter are moving forward, thanks to a Regional Council Capital Fund Grant.

The Empire State Development's Board of Directors awarded $5 million to the Economic Development Growth Enterprises (Mohawk Valley EDGE).

The money will assist with the costs of upgrades to the county-owned interceptor sewer plant in Utica. It runs from Marcy to the county's sewage treatment plant in Utica.

The development board of directors met today and approved several grants all totaling to $13.8 Million.
