Guilty plea in Rome shooting death

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Rome man pleaded guilty in Oneida County Court today to the shooting death of another Rome man.

Bobby Ray Hunt today admitted shooting Jadreck Baker following an argument back in May. The shooting happened near East Bloomfield Street in the city. Police caught up with Hunt in North Carolina, several weeks after the crime.

In exchange for his guilty plea, Hunt will spend the next 20 years in prison. Several members of victim Jadreck Baker's family were in court to watch their son and brother's killer admit the crime.
