Guns stolen in Constableville last month turn up in Utica arrest

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Handguns reported stolen in Constableville last month have turned up during an arrest in Utica.

On July 12, 2010, at roughly 11:30 a.m., members of the Utica Police Department's METRO Unit, along with members of the Emergency Response Team executed a no-knock search warrant at 1537 Seymour Ave in the City of Utica.

While inside, members located three handguns, assorted ammunition, and marijuana. Police said the handguns were reported stolen last month during a burglary at Four Corners Trading Post in Constableville.

Utica Police said Ricardo Goico, 33, has been charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, and five counts of criminal possession of stolen property, along with unlawful possession of marijuana.
