Hamilton College freshmen start moving in to campus

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - Normally, it's a sight you see when school's out for the summer.

But at Hamilton College on Friday, it was the other way around. Goofy costumes, crazy hairstyles, loud music and dance moves made for high energy on the campus Friday morning as orientation leaders welcomed freshmen moving in for the year.

The students filtering in are taking part of pre-orientation, which includes an Adirondack adventure, camping in the woods and a ropes course.

"We're just having a good time," said Emily Brodsky, pre-orientation leader.

If you're wondering how she got her hair to stand up like that, she used a water bottle.

The rest of the students move in over the weekend.
