By PAT BAILEY

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKTV) - Hundreds of new and familiar faces are making their way to the capitol building in Washington today to be sworn in as newly-elected representatives. Among those new people, local Republican Congressman-elect Richard Hanna. He's being sworn in and is taking his place in the House which is now controlled by the GOP.

Hanna beat incumbent Michael Arcuri back in November. That was his 2nd attempt at trying to do so. Hanna is one of 96 congressmen elected this past November and of those 96, 87 of them were Republicans.

The talk in Washington DC is about them and their agenda coming in. Those freshmen will talk about cutting spending, rolling back what they call "Obamacare" health reform package and finally cutting government control altogether. NEWSChannel 2's Pat Bailey will sit down with the congressman during the Live at Five Newshour and NEWSChannel 2 at six o clock.

Coming up at Noon we will also hear from the congressman as he will just then be hours away from being officially sworn in.
