Local student presents research on lead hot spots

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV)--A local student has worked for roughly two years researching lead poisoning in the Oneida County region, on Thursday night she presented some of her findings during a community discussion at the Mohawk Valley Freedom School, in Utica.

Harry J. Hale Sr, Pearl Harbor survivor, dies at age 91

One of the area's last remaining Pearl Harbor survivors has passed away. Harry J. Hale Sr, 91 of New York Mills died Sunday, December 16 at the Faxton-St. Luke's Home.
