Health department to have Tdap immunization clinic

(WKTV) - The Oneida County Health Department will have a Tdap immunization clinic from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the Utica clinic.

The Utica clinic is located at 406 Elizabeth St.

The clinic is intended for children 11 years old or older, or those entering sixth grade this fall, according to Phyllis D. Ellis, director of health. All children entering the sixth grade are required by New York state law to receive the Tdap booster.

Those wishing to attend the clinic are required to register in advance by going to the health department's website at and clicking on "Evening Immunization Clinics," or by calling (315) 798-5748.
