Herkimer County men accused in Bridgewater burglary

(WKTV) - Two Herkimer County men are charged in connection with a home burglary in the Town of Bridgewater, the Oneida County Sheriff's office said.

Timothy Egleston, 19, of Clayville and James Hurst, 23, of West Winfield are charged with burglary in the second degree.

According to officials, on Feb. 12, a homeowner on Hardscrabble Road in the Town of Bridgewater reported he came home to find his door kicked in and several items missing from inside.

Egleston was taken into custody during a traffic stop in Bridgewater on March 3. He was sent to Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail.

An arrest warrant was issued for Hurst on March 7. Hurst remains in Herkimer County jail, where he was being held on an unrelated charge.
