Herkimer HS Valedictorian: "We have a lot of bright, talented people"

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Herkimer High School commencement took place Saturday afternoon at Myers Park.

The Mohawk Valley Frasers offered their traditional bag pipe performance.

Nearly 85 students received their diplomas and will go on to college or careers. Nine of them were members of the National Honor Society.

The class valedictorian, Ben Stovall, says they have a great group with a great future. He said, "For our class, well we have a lot of bright, talented people. I think a lot of people are going to go on and do great things."

He will go on to major in chemistry at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
