Holiday Inn Express now open in north Utica as construction continues

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Holiday Inn Express on North Genesee Street in the City of Utica is now open for business.
The hotel opened Thursday following eleven months of construction and while Holiday Inn representatives say there is still some minor maintenance work that needs to be completed, all heavy infrastructure work is done.
The hotel has 75 rooms and on average, they have been filling between 20 and 30 rooms a night.
