House of Good Shepherd draws 128 golfers for tournament

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - The House of Good Shepherd had its 15th annual golf tournament Monday at the Yahnundasis.

More golfers came out than ever before, with 128 playing for a cause. The tournament raises money for the 68 children who live on their campus and the hundreds more they service through foster care.

"This helps to fund some of our treatment and rec programs that state and county doesn't cover," said Executive Director Bob Roberts.

Roberts said the funds raised will provide music therapy and sports activities for the children.

The tournament aimed to raise $80,000 for the cause.
