Jazz camp aims to promote music as a form of freedom

By WKTV News

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Mohawk Valley Center For the Arts is bringing back its "Jazz in the Valley" summer camp back for the second summer in a row, this summer.
Well-known jazz musician, Bill Jacobs, is a big part of the program and will have a role in the camp as well.
Jacobs splits his time between living in the small town of Little Falls and under the bright lights of New York City.
He said his passion for jazz has allowed him to live a happy, joyous, and free life.
He'll deliver the message that everyone can live this way through music, when he participates in the camp this summer.
"There are no instruments excluded from this art form," said Jacobs. "There are no musical instruments that are excluded and whatever registrants we have, we'll try to develop them, offer them something that will help them develop further."
