Jeff Carpenter wins Herkimer County DA race

HERKIMER COUNTY (WKTV) - The race for the Herkimer County District Attorney seat was hot, but acting district attorney Jeff Carpenter came out on top.

Carpenter, who has been acting district attorney for the last 10 months, received 12,471 votes while his opponent Mary Iocovozzi got 9,218 votes.

100% of the precincts in Herkimer County were reported

Before becoming acting district attorney, Carpenter was the assistant district attorney.
