Jevon Wameling arraigned in burglary and conspiracy case


UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The father of the baby Levon Wameling appeared in Oneida County Court, Thursday morning, to answer unrelated charges to that case.

Jevon Wameling, was arraigned and entered a not guilty plea to burglary and conspiracy charges, from an incident at a relative's house last month. He was also assigned an attorney to defend him in the case.

The day following Jevon's arrest on those charges, police found the body of his 9-month old son, Levon, in the Mohawk River in North Utica.

The child had been missing since late may.

No one has been charged in Levon's disappearance or death just yet, however, Jevon is set to return to court to answer the above charges, on November 14th.
