Judge gives correctional officer more time with son; orders restraining order against estranged wife

By Joleen Ferris

(WKTV) - The local state correction officer accused of repeatedly assaulting his estranged wife, including once in front of their 1-year-old son, was in court Thursday.

Craig Lockwood was in family court, where his attorney says a judge issued him a refrain from order against his estranged wife, Savannah Loce-Lockwood. Attorney George Massoud also says that Craig Lockwood was granted additional time with the couple's son and that the custody trial will happen in March in Oneida County Family Court.

Loce-Lockwood claims Lockwood attacked her last fall and again in January. Those charges are still pending. Lockwood is free on bail.
