Karl's Market robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night

(WKTV) - Two men robbed Karl's Market on Tuesday night, the Utica Police Department said.

According to officers, around 10:17 p.m., a report of a robbery at Karl's Market, 1414 Sunset Ave., was received. Once officers arrived, the clerk said two black men armed with semi-automatic guns entered the store -- which was closed at the time -- through an unsecured side door. The men stole an undisclosed amount of cash, a wallet and a cellphone.

One of the men was wearing jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a face mask. The other man was wearing a face mask, camouflaged pants and a blue hooded sweatshirt with a Syracuse logo.

Anyone with information is asked to call Utica police at 223-3510. All calls will be kept confidential.
